Telehealth is a secure way for your child to receive expert therapy services from your home. At our pediatric clinic, we offer both occupational therapy and physical therapy through virtual sessions. Using video calls, our licensed therapists guide children and their families through personalized activities, exercises, and routines that support development, build skills, and encourage progress. Whether it’s improving fine motor skills, coordination, strength, or sensory regulation, telehealth helps us bring care to you while keeping your child engaged and supported every step of the way.
What does a Teletherapy session look like?
Using video calls, our licensed therapists guide children and their families through personalized activities, exercises, and routines that support development, build skills, and encourage progress. Whether it’s improving fine motor skills, coordination, strength, or sensory regulation, telehealth helps us bring care to you while keeping your child engaged and supported every step of the way. The therapist utilizes a direct 1:1 interaction and “coaching” methods with the child and family to implement therapeutic strategies and techniques throughout the session. Teletherapy sessions are structured to address current therapy goals and help support transferring skills from the clinic environment to the home environment.
How long does a Teletherapy session last?
Teletherapy sessions are structured like in-person sessions and typically last 50-55 minutes. Teletherapy sessions are personalized and focus on parent education of carryover of therapy strategies into the home or community setting.
